Classroom packs of books and study guides will be made available on request, which are funded through voluntary donations.

    Anthem

Anthem is a short story that depicts a dystopian world enslaved by oppressive ideology. Ayn Rand describes a society so collectivised that even the word ‘I’ is forbidden, before contrasting it with romanticism and beauty as the protagonist finds freedom.

    The Fountainhead

The Fountainhead tells the story of Howard Roark, an architect who refuses to compromise on his principles. Ayn Rand uses The Fountainhead to depict her idea of the ideal man. This novel is a powerful read and a favourite among young adults.

    Atlas Shrugged

Atlas Shrugged is the mystery story of a strike by the men of the mind. Ayn Rand’s magnum opus also sets out her key philosophy: a morality for living in the real world.

For over 50 years it has enticed readers with its timeless question: Who Is John Galt?

This timeless book has become immensely popular recently, as people search for answers to the economic crisis.

Atlas Shrugged is a must read, and is arguably the most important and inspiring book of the 20th century.
